This upper-level course is designed to introduce students to a broad study of Caribbean Economics. More specifically, students will examine the relevance, concepts and elements of the Caribbean economic environment, economic growth and development, agriculture, technology and education, as agents for development and regional integration. As well as examine issues of in sustainable economic development and tourism as a strategy for economic growth.
