Course Description: This course first introduces students to how economies function. It depicts how economies garners income (GDP, NNP and GNP) and how this income is circulated. The course considers the theories (Keynes, Injection/Withdrawal, Demand and Supply) for understanding the determination of income and provides the measures that can be implemented by governments to create economic growth. Course Description: This course is designed to introduce students to operating an accounting software in the business environment. With the use of the QuickBooks accounting software, students can perform accounting tasks that were usually done manually. They are also introduced to the planning and organizing of the front office team and the housekeeping team; given an overview of night auditing within the hotel; revenue management and general human resource management functions.
